Dan Williams is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada.

Dan has over 15 years experience in the pipe and tube manufacturing industry, including technical and managing roles in metallurgy, quality and operations. Dan worked at Stelco’s former pipe and tube operation (Stelpipe) from 1989-1996 and at Wolverine Tube from 1997-2006. Most recently, Dan worked as Product Applications Specialist – Energy Products for Algoma Steel, part of the Essar Group. While there, he worked directly with major API pipe and tube producers in qualifying Algoma’s developed, energy steel grades. He joined Lamontagne Pipeline Assessment Corporation in 2008.

Dan has extensive experience in the quality assurance aspects of pipe manufacturing. He brings to Lamontagne Pipeline Assessment Corporation a solid knowledge of the steel making and pipe manufacturing processes for line pipe and oil country tubular goods in his current role for integrity management assessment.
